, hereby make application to the Oversoul World Ministries for membership in the World-Wide Humanitarian Association. As a condition of membership, I hereby attest and aver that I have a genuine interest in the humanitarian, human rights, and ongoing educational programs associated with the Oversoul World Ministries, to learn more about the Laws of Nature and Nature's God, to become a good steward, and advance the Common Codes of the Associative Body, and make my covenant, as follows:
I firmly believe in the "Laws of Nature" and Nature's God" and that I am in partnership with God to be a good steward of the abundant gifts bestowed upon me by God for the betterment of all things created.
I believe in the equality of man; and I believe that religious duties consist of doing justice, loving mercy, and assisting our fellow creatures. I believe that there is a "higher power" i.e., the Creator, who created all things, ideas, and conceptions for man to use as stewards. I believe that the creation speaks a universal language, independently of human speech or human language, which is Nature. It is an ever-existing original, which every man can read. It cannot be forgotten; in cannot be counterfeited; in cannot be lost; it cannot be altered; it cannot be suppressed. The beginning of the knowledge of God is Nature.
As an advocate of the Laws of Nature, I will foster environmental awareness. Instead of looking upon Nature as something that needs to be "subdued" and "taken dominion over," I will look upon it as something beautiful and fragile, of which I am a living part, and to which I owe a responsibility. I will enjoy Nature, and protect it.
I will respect the right of all people to believe or not to believe in God, as his or her personal beliefs dictate, and I will never attempt to deny anyone that inalienable right.
To prevent myself from becoming a slave to any idea, opinion, creed, dogma, or philosophy, whether religious or political, I will always keep my mind open to opposing views and honestly examine them, using reason and logic as my guide.
I understand that the Oversoul Association is a sovereign entity and as such, they have not nor will they apply to any agency for permission or authority to minister to the world membership the philosophy and teaching of our forefathers. As such, the Oversoul does not participate in giving tax deductions in exchange for "free will contributions." These contributions are given to the Oversoul Association for humanitarian purposes and reimbursement for expenses associated with the printing, mailing, etc. of Oversoul Readings.
To reimburse the Oversoul Administrators for expenses incurred in establishing a membership file, issuing initial documents and printing of the same, I hereby remit my "free-will offering" in the form of a check, money order (payable in United States currency) in the amount of Thirty-Five Dollars (US$35.00) made payable to Oversoul Administration. I understand that once my application for membership had been approved, I will receive a Certificate of Membership which will show my membership number. I also understand, that as a new member, I will receive the publication entitled "The Quest to Know Nature's God and Understand the Laws of Nature."
