Dear Friends and Faithful Benefactors of WorldScope Ministries:
Greetings to you from your Missionary Family. This has been both a time of great trial and blessing as well. My father, Dr. William J. Roberts is now in a
nursing home near my residence, living "one day at a time". His life has been in the "balance" for these two months especially and we know that our Lord's
timing is perfect. We can only trust Him to give my father continual peace and rest in his mind and spirit - awaiting his "higher calling" very soon.
I have been amazed to feel both the presence of our Lord and the very special graces for our on-going ministry and especially our radio work.
In the Bible we read from Eclesiastes 4:9-12 these words of encouragement as we our faithful friends and partners continue to minister together.
"Two are better than one for they receive a goood wage for their labor. If one falls, the other will lift up his companion. Woe to the solitary man. For if
he should fall, he has no one to lift him up. So also, if two sleep together, they keep each other warm. How can one alone keep warm? Where a lone man may
be overcome, two together ean resist., A three-ply cord is not easily broken." ( Eccl. 4:9-12 )
These three truths come to my mind most especially ....
I. THE SATISFACTION of having lived and worked in union with each other and our Lord. Eccl. 3:13 "For every man, moreover,, to eat and drink and enjoy the
fruit of all his labor is a Gift of God".
We celebrate the fruit of our labor - both the years of ministry with my father but also knowing
That his legacy is part of our on-going evangelistic ministry. Especially we look forward to July 29-30 of this month of July, celebrating 32 years with our
hispanic people coming to Los Angeles for Carisma in Missions's annual Renewal and Evangelization at the Shrine Auditorium. (For more Information see the
web site www.Carismaenmisiones.com)
When our Lord allows us to "catch the dream" to proclaim the good news, we are determined to complete the work He has given to us. Personally it is hard for
me to hear of those who would complain, expressing negative attitudes or even pride in regards to the work of the Lord. My Father is a wonderful example of
one blessed. Yesterday he spoke to me in his feeble words saying "I have done everything I could do, Alelluya".
II. HEAT OF BEING TOGETHER
When we live in the unity of the Spirit we feel the fervor of our work together.
A. Spiritual Heat - Romans 12:11 "Do not grow slack in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord."
This spiritual heat is as FIRE of the Spirit, which consumes us and fills us with fervor living and working together for our Lord.
B. Passion - in order to use the gifts the Lord has given to us and continue to learn and develop
our talents together.
C. Spiritual Gifts - II Timothy 1:16 (St. Paul to Timothy) "For this reason I remind you to stir into Flame the gift of God that you have through the
imposition of my hands."
When we receive the gifts of the Spirit, we are filled with our Lord's love and compassion
for His people.
III. SPIRITUAL WARFARE
Eccl. 4:12 "Where a lone man may be overcome, two together can resist. A three-ply cord is not
easily broken."
In order to maintain our strength for the work of our Lord, we must recognize the disguise of the
Enemy - his purposes to destroy everything God has given to His people and to believe that with
A three-fold cord, you and I with Jesus Christ can be victorious over any obstacle in our way.
Ephesians 6:11-12 "Put on the armor of God so that you may be able to stand firm against
The tactics of the devil, For our struggle is not with flesh and blood but with the principalities, with the powers, with the world rulers of this present
darkness, with the evil spirits in the heavens."
We are entering a very precise era for the days ahead in the work of evangelization. We know that
we are very blessed to live at this time and we unite in prayer and on-going desire to allow our Lord
to use us in the power of the Holy Spirit and to live "his dream" in us to give our world His love,
promise of salvation, healing and hope with every ounce of energy He would give to us.
May God continue to bless and encourage you in Christ's love. Please continue to allow us as your
ministry family to continue the work of WorldScope ministries wherever He would send us. We
thank you for your ongoing prayers and much needed support.
Your servant in Christ,
Dr. Marilynn Kramar, President
WorldScope Ministries and daughter of
Dr William J. Roberts
